The fabulous Mrs Boyle hosts one of her famous Quizzes for us; keep an eye out for tables going on sale as this will be a sell out event! Bring your own booze and snacks and make a night of it with your friends. 7pm arrival for 7.30pm start. Teams of up to 8 at £40 per table.

Year 6 are running a cake sale straight after school (unless rained off), funds raised help to pay for the year 6 leavers yearbook and party

Adults only bingo night with a fish and chip supper and on the night raffle

At the end of every year we like to get together to thank all of our volunteers at a local pub - venue TBC

Two play dates over the summer holidays hosted by current parents in the school to give the parents of incoming EYFS children the chance to meet up in an informal environment.

Every September(!) the children make a Christmas card design, with a team of parents coming in to school to help the younger year groups. Parents can then order the cards and other gifts to send out to loved ones. 

Each year M&M Theatrical productions come into the school and perform a pantomime in the school in school hours ensuring all children get to experience the magic of the pantomime. 

In this much loved Barley Hill tradition every child in the school gets to come and buy two presents for loved ones and then wrap them up, run over two afternoons in school hours with the opportunity for extra shopping after school on the Friday!

On this twist on a mufti the children get to pay to break a specific list of school rules at a cost of 50p per rule broken. Rules include

•  Crazy hair/hair accessories

•  Temporary tattoo

•  Nail polish

•  Squash in water bottle

•  An unhealthy snack (no nuts)

•  Make-up/face paint

•  Wear non-uniform

•  Keep hat on in class

•  Tell an age-appropriate joke to your class

Who doesn't love an Easter egg hunt? This annual event involves a hunt around the school field to find the clues and complete the answers on your answer sheet, once done come and exchange them for your prize! Whilst you are at it come and buy a hot or cold drink and cakes to refuel you after all that work!
